A 30-year-old man is dead and a taxi driver is in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in the Guildford area.
A man is dead and a taxi driver is in hospital following a daytime shooting in Surrey's Guildford neighbourhood on Tuesday.
When police arrived they found both occupants in the vehicle had been shot: a 30-year-old man, who died, and the driver. The taxi driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. "This daytime shooting in a strip mall parking lot demonstrated a complete disregard for the safety of others and resulted in serious injuries to the taxi driver," says Surrey RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Vanessa Munn in a statement.
