Alyward and her partner, Earl Bohn, had been operating the business selling bath bombs and other products Alyward makes for about five years from their home in Witless Bay. “I said it brings me a lot of peace. said to me, ‘Go with it, you only live once.’ So when she died, I put in my notice at work and yeah, we took that leap.”There’s a significant market for her type of product right now, Alyward said, and they ship orders all over the world regularly.
“I said to Earl, 'Look at this, this is crazy how expensive this is.' He looked at me and said, ‘How much is the cost to make it?’ And here we are.”
