The Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy is inviting the public to learn about the Metis connection to Bawating and the St. Marys River through a Metis-led eco-cultural Canoe and Walking Tour.
Vaughan will be leading the tour along historic points of interest walking from the Centre to the St. Marys River. At Parks Canada, participants will board the Conservancy’s big canoe to learn about the Métis relationship between their river lots, the river and the rapids.
