SYDNEY, N.S. — The Sydney Major Sooners may not have won the Canadian Little League Championship last month in Calgary, but they didn’t come home empty-handed. The local club was given the national tournament’s most sportsmanlike team for their sportsmanship on and off the field. Sydney finished the tournament with an 0-6 record. The club earned its spot in the event after winning the Nova Scotia Major Little League provincial title in Glace Bay in July.
