The 2019 Vancouver Sun Run bloggers have been logging word counts along with kilometres to share their experiences training for the April 14 10K walk/run.

Shearer suffers from shin splints which can make running quite painful, and she finds stretching and cross-training in the pool helpful. “I traveled on business to Edmonton and it was just too cold for me to run outside,” he said. “There was just not enough time to do my homework runs.” She travelled to California in January and enjoyed the warmer weather while she ran along a beach trail one morning to get her training in.“The body warms up quickly, but I was very happy that I had double layers on my legs. It was chilly for sure, but we ran for 58 minutes and roughly 7.87 kms.
