At least 150 people are feared dead in a massacre in a village in central Sudan blamed on the Rapid Support Forces , the paramilitary group fighting the army.The RSF has not commented on the accusations, but on Thursday boasted of attacking two army positions.
The Madani Resistance Committee said it was now "waiting for a confirmed toll of the dead and injured". Meanwhile, intense battles continue between the RSF and military in El Fasher, a city in Darfur in the west of the country. UN agencies say the fighting has sparked the world’s largest displacement crisis and that millions are facing a hunger catastrophe as a result.
