A Stomper found a deal for durian on Facebook and paid $100 for the local favourite fruit.The Stomper shared with Stomp that they checked whether the seller had stock before paying $100 for eight boxes of durian on Feb 27.
The transaction did not appear suspicious, and the seller even sent him photos of the durian as requested. "These lazy people looking for easy money online are looking for buyers of all kinds of food on Facebook," the Stomper said."The seller then blocked me."In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
