Loadshedding is back to stage 2 from today, and brings City of Cape Town customers back into the schedule:

Eskom explains that these changes in schedule come due to a persistent shortage of generation capacity.They are attempting to limit the loadshedding to night-time, in an attempt to affect the country’s economy and population as little as possible.

This week, generation units at Camden, Kriel, Kusile, Matla and Medupi power stations were returned to service, with two generating units at Majuba and one at Tutuka power stations being taken offline for repairs.
