Jaida Lee of St. John’s is the first female to compete in men’s baseball at the games.

Lee took to the mound against Alberta yesterday in relief, going three-up, three-down in her first inning of work. The ball was taken to go in the Canada Baseball Hall of Fame. Lee says she’s glad she can be a source of inspiration for younger girls, but just sees herself as a baseball player. She says sometimes the “making history” side of things has been a lot, but describes it as “pretty cool.”HISTORY. HAS. BEEN. MADE.
