The Prince George Spruce Kings earned two crucial points Friday night, defeating the Cranbrook Bucks by a score of 4-3 at Western Financial Place.
The win means Prince George won't finish any lower than fifth in the Interior Division standings. Entering the day where any seed between third and seventh was possible, the Spruce Kings are now down to possible spots in either fourth or fifth. Spruce Kings' goals were scored by Jake Schneider, Ben LeFranc, Kilian McGregor-Bennett, and Austin Fraser. Schneider and McGregor-Bennett's goals both came on the powerplay as Prince George finished the game 50 percent with the man advantage.Aidan Feddema stopped 27 of the 30 shots fired his way from the Bucks to earn his seventh win of the season.
