The Flames haven’t yet revealed their plans for Pride Night at the Scotiabank Saddledome, which is set for Tuesday night when they take on the Los Angeles Kings. There’s nothing unusual there, though. All season, the team has announced the details of similar nights a day or two before the game. “There hasn’t been much talk , I think everyone’s on the same page here. Me, personally, I support it and I want all our fans and everyone here to feel comfortable and welcome here and us, as players, want to be a part of that.”While it doesn’t sound like there have been widespread discussions from players – they’re pretty focused on trying to salvage their playoff push – there’s been no indication that anyone is anticipating any controversy next week.

“I think we’re going to continue with it,” said Flames centre Nazem Kadri. “It’s an initiative we have. We want to welcome everybody into the Saddledome. We want to continue to grow this game and get as many people watching hockey as we possibly can.”
