Southwest Airlines has filed a lawsuit against the City of San Antonio, claiming the city is unlawfully discriminating against Southwest.
A lease for the airlines which will fly out of the new terminal goes into effect Tuesday. And Southwest Airlines is not on it.This week, Mayor Ron Nirenberg traveled to Southwest Airlines headquarters in Dallas to entice the carrier to sign a long term lease agreement at the San Antonio International Airport. Instead, the airline filed a lawsuit claiming the city is unlawfully discriminating against them.
