The chart's methodology blends engagement to entities’ social media accounts along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Dec. 31.

Hart was the Top Comedians chart’s first leader when it debuted in June 2017, and of his 124 weeks on the ranking since then, 100 have been spent at No. 1. His next closest competitor? D.L. Hughley, who’s led for eight weeks, followed by Lil’ Duval and Roseanne Barr at six weeks apiece. Hart reigns on the Jan. 8 survey despite remaining fairly even in overall social engagement for the tracking week. His week was paced by 7.8 million favorites on Instagram.

On Top Actors, Priyanka Chopra vaults to No. 2 following multiple high-engagement vacation- and holiday-themed uploads, but Dwayne Johnson remains at No. 1 for the seventh straight week and 66Chopra re-enters at No. 2 with a wide variety of Instagram uploads during the Dec. 25-31 tracking week, spurring 13.2 million favorites and 256,000 new followers. The top two photos showed Chopra with husband Nick Jonas, the most-favorited wishing followers a Merry Christmas.
