Police in Arlington said the action movie-esque landing didn’t result in any injuries and the only reported property damage was to a chain-link fence.
A small plane made an emergency landing straight out an action movie in Arlington on Monday when the pilot put the aircraft down on Timberlake Drive, according to police.
In the posts, Arlington police said the two people aboard the plane had already deboarded on their own by the time officers arrived. Nobody had any serious injuries. Police said Timberlake Drive between Park Row Drive and Pioneer Parkway would be closed for several hours, advising drivers to take Great Southwest Parkway to navigate around the area.
