Youth thinking about a career in the trades can get a taste of the industry by attending a summer day camp at Loyalist College.
Skills Ontario Summer Camps are being held across the province providing hands-on activities for youth entering grades 7 to 9 to learn about skilled trades and technologies.Participating youth will try different skilled trade activities like an automotive workshop, coding workshop, mechanical workshop and a cyber security workshop.The program is supported by the federal and provincial government along with sponsors Magna International and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board .
