Skateboarder Lacey Baker shares her favorite Queer anthems! Check it out:
. As a woman, queer person and advocate, she's a breath of fresh air for a sports community that has slowly become more inclusive. She is competing starting August 1st at the X Games Minneapolis, where she'll be a face for women in skateboarding and, hopefully, a winner. Who knew the X Games was such a musical place too? The X Games has a concert series that runs alongside the competition with artists like Diplo, Wu-Tang Clan, and Incubus performing.
This is my number one favorite track from Cher Strawberry’s first music project entitledCher wrote and recorded all these songs in her bedroom. She is the epitome of queer punk rock and has largely inspired my own musical journey. I listened to these tracks every day going to and from work when I lived in LA back in 2016. What an honor to know someone who’s so unapologetically authentic. Take notes people!Blind is an absolute BANGER.
