Former Idols South Africa winner Khaya Mthethwa – the ex-husband of beauty queen Ntando Kunene – has been reminded of his alleged past transgressions after he posted a tweet about co-parenting.In 2019, Khaya split from Ntando – a former Miss South Africa – after just two years of marriage. They share a son Oyinkosi, together.
Khaya returned to his love of gospel music and is now a senior pastor at the Oasis Church in Durban. Over the weekend, Khaya Mthethwa tweeted about some of the struggles of being a divorced dad. He posted: “Count it a blessing to live with your child… drop offs are so heartbreaking”.“You’re the one who proudly told God that you don’t wanna get married anymore. You didn’t want your family anymore. YOU ASKED GOD FOR THIS”“Oh, if it isn’t the consequences of your own actions.
Two years later, the couple – who welcomed a son, Oyinkosi – announced their shock split in a vague statement.Khaya Mthethwa has dated a string of beautiful women. According toIn a clip posted on Twitter, Khaya Mthethwa revealed how he “told God” he “knew” he didn’t want to be married barely a year after his wedding. The clip was allegedly taken from Khaya’s sermon at the Assemblies of God Church in Sandton.
He said: “When I said to God, I don’t think I want to be married anymore. I told God that in January. I’m like, ‘I think I’m done.'”.
