John McKeown has boosted his squad ahead of their Premier League adventure
Shotts boss John McKeown has brought in two strikers as he builds for an assault on the West of Scotland Premier Division.
Ex-Kirkintilloch striker Fraser Anderson and Ally Small from Darvel have been added to McKeown’s pool, and he’s looking forward to getting the season underway. “We re-signed 90 per cent of the squad that got promoted, we felt they deserved that opportunity to prove themselves in the top league.Shotts start at defending champions Beith on Saturday, July 27, and have prepared with a 3-2 win over Newmains Utd last Wednesday and a 5-2 win over Stoneyburn on Saturday.
