Getting Better Together Shotts (GBT) applied to North Lanarkshire Council to install the huge containers at the Springhill Community Hub.

A Shotts charity has been given the go ahead to install new shipping containers which will be used for bicycle hire and maintenance.

“Whilst the containers would be well back from any of the roads which bound the open space, the site is relatively open and is quite prominent on the corner so the containers will be visible. No objections were received for the proposals and planning permission was granted subject to conditions.
