The good news for Seven Hills officials is the construction of the new service department truck garage is ahead of schedule.
However, the city was recently forced to add unexpected electrical work to the $936,003 pole barn building project.
“When First Energy came out to inspect the electrical situation, given the current layout of the property and the location of the building, they proposed to us that we route our electrical around the new building and connect it to the existing buildings.”“Our existing buildings were put up over a long period of time and they’re not very well integrated,” he said.
At a cost of $123,101, the plan calls for rerouting behind the new storage facility to a current facility, going from three meters to one and eliminating two current utility poles with transformers.
