CAPE TOWN - The Jacob Zuma Foundation said that issuing the African National Congress with a letter of demand on its birthday to reinstate its patron and former ANC president had been deliberate.Despite starting his own party, Zuma believes there's nothing untoward about wanting to hold dual political party membership, as do members of the ANC's alliance partner, the South African Communist Party .
His foundation's spokesperson, Mzwanele Manyi, said that the timing of delivering this legal challenge to the ANC was no coincidence. "President Zuma is raising awareness to South Africa to say that South Africa must wake up and see this ANC for what it is, which is not what the founders of the ANC had in mind.""He's a liar. He's unreliable. He's not a friend to anybody, but he's a friend to himself."
