The veiled reference to outgoing Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, and changing the tone of civic discourse, has been a key pillar to her campaign. She jumped in very early and has been using her background as a third generation Central District resident, and cannabis entrepreneur to tout her business and social credentials.

In a nearly half hour conversation with KOMO News Senior Reporter Chris Daniels, Hollingsworth talked about public safety, public drug consumption laws, and the homelessness response.
