Engineers are working to repair the fault
Scottish Power was made aware of the fault around 11.30am on December 30 which left around 40 homes in the G46 area near Glasgow without power. and hopes to fully restore electricity to the area this afternoon.
A spokesperson from SP Energy Networks said:"There is a cable fault in the area affecting around 40 properties, we have restored power to the majority of homes and will have the final customers connected by 4pm.
