Breaking local news in Boksburg

The police are investigating a case of house robbery and kidnapping after a security guard was taken hostage following a robbery at Pebble Falls Lifestyle Estate in the early hours of September 26.

According to Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu, four armed robbers targeted one of the units. “Two of the robbers then held a security guard at gunpoint and put him in the boot as he was about to scan the disc of their vehicle. They dropped him off in Soweto, where he was assisted to the police station,” said Mngomezulu.Mngomezulu said four robbers also targeted the same complex in the early hours of September 29.Anybody with information may contact the Boksburg North Police Station on 011 960 0100 or the helpline on 08600 10111.
