Ghana legend Sammy Kuffour has slammed Asamoah Gyan for his outburst about a certain player's omission from the Black Stars' 2022 World Cup qualifying play-off squad. 😯 More here! ➡
Kuffour, who is a management committee member of the Ghana national team, has responded to Gyan's claim that it is"nonsense" that midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was left out of the latest squad.

"I still insist that Ashimeru deserves to be in this current Black Stars BUT am sorry for using the word 'Nonsense' in my statement, so I unreservedly withdraw that word, I was carried by my emotions. Go Ghana," he wrote.
However, his initial reaction seemingly compelled the Ghana Football Association to explain why Ashimeru was left out of the 27-man squad set to face Nigeria, revealing that his omission was due to injury, perFormer Bayern Munich and Black Stars defender Kuffour has since called out Gyan for his outburst, and defended the decision to leave out Ashimeru.
