The Competition Commission and Tribunal is hosting the 18th Annual Competition Law Conference.

Speaking at the event, Godlimpi says while there is a need to reflect on the commission’s role, gaps in competition laws must also be looked at. He says, “There’s a lot of important work that the competition commission and the competition tribunal have achieved over the past 25 years. They have intervened in instances of price-fixing, of collusions in the market. There was the bread price-fixing saga. There was the construction price-fixing with the World Cup stadia and a whole range of issues that happened in the past 25 years.
