He has been banned for three years.
The 28-year-old winger, who was a backup to Cheslin Kolbe during the 2019 World Cup in Japan, is the second player from that championship team to face a doping ban.Nkosi made his debut for South Africa in 2018 against England and earned his final cap against New Zealand three years later, scoring nine Test tries.
During his time with the Bulls, he faced mental health issues and went missing for several weeks in 2022, prompting a police search before he was located at a relative’s home.
