Co-owner Mary Matthews sorts through donated clothing at Repeats Quality Used Family Clothing Aug 2. - Alison JenkinsRamsay hasn’t been at the store for a while, but customers still ask about her. “Could you ask for much more in selection?” said one shopper, gesturing to the rows and rows of clothing, costumes, shoes and jewelry. She was reluctant to share her name for fear her husband would see her thrifting.
But business hasn’t always been smooth sailing. A fire shuttered the store for 14 months in 2014 and 2015.
