Reinstated Umgeni Water gets Cabinet approval

In a statement issued on Thursday, Cabinet spokesperson Phumla Williams said, “Cabinet has opted to comply with the court judgment that ruled on the reinstatement of the members of the board of directors of Umgeni Water”.

The reinstated members are Ziphozethu Mathenjwa , Thandwa Mthembu, Siboniso Shabalala, Mduduzi Eric Zakwe, Nompumelelo Chamane, Visvin Reddy, William Mapena, Teboho Nkhahle, Linda Ngcobo, Bongekile Zulu, Suleman Badat, Mbali Ndlovu and Advocate Simosenkosi Chamane.
