Community Hospice Manager Petra Lepage, Bay of Quinte M.P.P.Todd Smith, and Donor Relations and Community Manager Sandi Ramsay at Hospice Quinte

The province is supporting a program by Hospice Quinte, which helps seniors in the last journey they will take. On Monday morning at Hospice Quinte in Quinte West, Bay of Quinte M.P.P Todd Smith announced a $24,000 Seniors Community Grant for Hospice Quinte.“Planning is a way to ensure that you can make the important and difficult decisions about health care, as illness progresses and about what happens when we die.”https://media.socastsrm.com/wordpress/wp-content/blogs.dir/1977/files/2023/01/petra-lepage-1.

“This grant will definitely be helping seniors. As you know we are a demographic in this area of a lot of seniors. These conversations need to be had every day, with the seniors, with health care providers and with family members, to ensure that people’s end of life wishes are known and followed.”
