Philippe Dufresne said in a report that the government\u0027s response to the pandemic \u0022complied with relevant privacy laws,\u0022 despite complaints.
The commissioner said complaints about this program were “not well-founded.”
The commissioner found that when mandates were first brought in they were reasonable, but the government should have been more clear about the goals. “The broad scope of transportation safety did not differentiate between what may be appropriate for the purposes of protecting individuals from the risks imposed on them by others, and the risks that individuals may accept for themselves.”
