Popular characters Shrek and The Grinch will also be making an appearance
The details for Preston's Christmas lights switch-on extravaganza have been announced. A plethora of stars will appear at the event, which is hosted by Preston BID and Smooth Radio North West on Saturday, November 18 from 5.30pm.
Other family favourites and characters including Shrek, The Snowman and The Snowdog alongside the mischievous Grinch will also be making an appearance on the night. There will also be additional performances from JJ Gibson’s American Motown Show with Alfie Bailey and semi-finalist of America’s Got Talent, Alfie Andrew.
Jamie Griffiths, from Smooth Radio, added: "This event is always an important one in the Smooth calendar – every year it’s the perfect mix of entertainment, music and laughter, topped off with some festive community spirit. We are counting down the days to the big night".
