Emergency departments across Ontario have been forced to close for hours or days at a time this summer

“Make no mistake about – there’s a logjam,” Ford said Wednesday at an auto parts announcement in Stratford. “Can we do better? 100%.”

“The Cardio-Vascular ICU, the Cardiac ICU and the Med-Surg ICU at Toronto General are at their total bed capacity and/or have limited human resources to safely keep all physical critical care beds open and in operation,” UHN said in a release.
