For the first time in two years, Pow Wow is back at Sault College; this year’s theme is Maamawizidaa, meaning, 'Let’s all come together”
Hundreds gathered inside the Sault College Health & Wellness Centre on Saturday for the school’s first pow wow in two years.
Hosted by Sault College’s Indigenous Studies and Indigenous Student Union, this year’s theme is Maamawizidaa, meaning, “Let’s all come together.” Following this afternoon’s pow wow, a free feast will take place at 5 p.m. Residents are invited to attend a second Grand Entry in the school’s Health & Wellness Centre at 7 p.m.
