Wine lovers in Katy will soon have a new destination to sip their favorite vintages. The popular Postino Wine Cafe will soon be opening a new location in LaCenterra this summer.
The wine hot spot is known for its vast wine selection, charcuterie offerings and mellow ambiance. The Katy location will have a similar verve to the other locations in the Houston area, said Douglas Roses, area director for Postino, which is why LaCenterra was chosen for the new location.‘No. 1 beer festival in North America’ returns this fall at larger venue in Katy
The cafe will offer more than 60 different wine vintages from both the U.S. and abroad. The wines will be approachable and unpretentious, Roses said. “We want to serve wines that are enjoyable and casual that you might find in Siena or Tuscany but without being stuffy,” he said. Postino will offer charcuteries and wine-centric bites as well. The cafe is best known for its fresh-made bruschetta. “We have a variety of bruschetta toppings and combinations that pair with our wines, and they’re great for sharing,” Roses said.
“We really just want to create this open-air kind of dining experience, which allows customers to pick up on the energy and electricity of LaCenterra,” he explained.First complete 3D-printed home can withstand hurricanes — and it looks good, too
