Forum Research poll for the Toronto Star has the former NDP MP with the support of 34 per cent of decided and leaning voters
. Some included six prominent candidates championing, and defending, their platforms.
“These polls will give confidence and momentum to the Chow campaign,” Siemiatycki said. “One question now is ‘Will there be an anybody but Chow movement?’ But it’s hard to see other candidates coalescing against her, given the shots and criticisms they’re currently lobbing at each other.” Two other polls conducted in recent days also suggest that Chow is maintaining a healthy lead as the election heads into its final weeks.
