We asked Grant Shapps about the IDF's order for civilians in northern Gaza to move south in the next 24 hours, which the UN has demanded be rescinded due to its lack of practicality.The defence secretary told Sky News he has seen video of 'very distressing videos of Hamas beheading people', killing people and 'showing off the bodies, dragging people through the street and raping people'.
'Mr Shapps added: 'Hamas can bring all of this to an end. They can release the hostages, they can recognise not just Israel can remove from their founding charter the principle of eradicating all Jews from the earth, which by the way is Hamas's purpose.'Israel on the other hand has the right to defend itself,' he said, and added that is giving warning in advance of military action.
