Police issue update after teenage motorcyclist killed in horror crash which saw road closed for hours
Police investigating a horrific crash which saw a teenage motorcyclist killed are appealing for information.
Officers established that a Honda motorcycle and Vauxhall Vivaro were involved in the crash, near the junction of Shepley Road.The rider of the motorbike sustained multiple injuries and sadly died a short time later, GMP said. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Denton Road remained shut between the junctions with Shepley Road and Stanhope Street for a number of hours as police officers were seen guarding the cordon.
