The Police in Vuwani are investigating a case of attempted business robbery that occurred on 02 November 2023 at around 22:00, in which suspects fled from the scene and left a firearm behind at the scene after they were disarmed by the victim.

It is reported that the victim, aged 71, was about to lock his café- when two suspects entered as customers and suddenly, pointed him with the firearm, thus demanding money. In the process, the victim overpowered the two suspects and grabbed the firearm from one of them. They immediately fled the scene on foot. Police were notified and a case of attempted business robbery was opened. A manhunt for the suspects is underway.
