The drugs have an estimated street value of nearly $135,000, while the cash seized amounted to more than $16,500.

Five suspects were identified and arrested, including one who attempted to flee from officers but was later found in the Christina Street area. All five, which include a 25-year-old from Victoria, B.C., a 35-year-old from Brampton, and a 17-year-old from Brampton, are charged with one count of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
