City could see up to 25 centimetres of snow

A winter storm is possible for the area, starting late on Tuesday, according to Environment Canada. Between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow could fall, mixed with ice pellets, which could lead to reduced visibility due to heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Environment Canada says the snow would be the result of a Colorado Low expected to descend on the area, tracking over Northwestern Ontario on Wednesday, The snow is expected to precede the system on Tuesday afternoon and taper off by Thursday morning. However, the weather organization says the track of the system remains unclear at this time.
