THUNDER BAY – An investigation into drug trafficking activity in Thunder Bay's north end resulted in charges for four suspects and the seizure of around $24,000 worth of illicit drugs, the Thunder Bay Police Service reports.
Police arrested four suspects, including two Toronto men, and seized cocaine and fentanyl after a search of a north side address Thursday evening. Officers with the TBPS Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200s block of Algoma Street South around 5:30 p.m. The search warrant was obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the area, police stated.
A search of the home resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, the force reported.
