The authentic Mexican restaurant will welcome diners starting on June 1.
The chain operates about 75 casual, sit-down restaurants in a handful of states including Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Connecticut, West Virginia and Massachusetts.Chain representative Audiel Aguilar said Plaza Azteca wanted to bring its authentic Mexican food and margaritas to the Susquehanna Township neighborhood.
The dining room at Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Susquehanna Township is decorated with flowers and paintings of famous people from Mexico.In keeping with the times, the restaurant incorporated a selfie photo booth with a fun circular seat surrounded by flowers. Popular items include Burrito San Jose made from grilled chicken and chorizo and birria tacos built from corn tortillas dipped in birria-style beef broth and stuffed with beef, queso, chopped onions and cilantro. A kids menu covers mac n’ cheese, quesadillas, chicken fingers and enchiladas.
