Stellenbosch suffered a 3-1 loss to Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend and coach Steve Barker pointed out that his side's defensive issues are more of a concern than their attack.Barker referenced Pirates' return of six goals scored in ten games, compared to his side's 13 after the same number of matches, as evidence that they are doing well offensively but need just to improve their defending.
"Later on we get caught again and one of the penalties, what led to a penalty was a ball over the top, I'm not too sure it could have been offside, maybe not but again another run in behind, so defensively, we have not been as good as I want us to be," he added. "It's a tough competition, you see how difficult it is to win one game in the league, even to score one goal, no one is getting easy victories," Riveiro told reporters in a press conference.
"I don't know what's gonna happen but what we cannot do is to win two games in a row and think we're going to destroy everyone. I'm not talking about us, I'm talking about in general," he went on.
