Pirates dropped points for the second successive match after they were held to a goalless draw by the Natal Rich Boyz. The Buccaneers had a numerical advantage on the stroke of half-time after Bay were reduced to ten men following the red card of Siyanda Msani. Riveiro says they lacked the patience to find gaps in the Richards Bay low block.
"We tried to keep their back-four as entertained as possible, with two strikers, more positional than in the first half, with Lepasa and Saleng, we tried with 'Dzuka' , Eva Nga, to have these four players far from our number tens and the central midfielders," he explained. "I think we managed to do it well in the first line but then we were missing every time one more pass to try to move one of the players in the last line, out of the line and have a bit more space and time for our forward players."
