He had to calm things down
A debate got heated on ITV's This Morning this week and it was left to host Phillip Schofield to calm things down on the programme. With the royal family the hot news topic at the moment, the popular daytime show took on a couple of royal topics to debate with guests Vanessa Feltz and Matthew Wright and temperatures soon rose.
As guests and regular contributors, Vanessa and Matthew joined Phillip and Holly in the studio for the discussion on a 'slimmed down monarchy'. However, it quickly became apparent that they held very different views. Matthew began speculating how much the Queen's funeral and related events cost, adding, according to Chronicle Live, that it was at a time when the country is in the grip of a cost of living crisis.
