Philadelphia Flyers sign Zack MacEwen to one-year contract extension

MacEwen, 26, scored three goals and nine points in 75 games with the Flyers during the 2021–22 regular season. He also recorded a career-high 110 penalty minutes.August 2, 2022 As an undrafted player, MacEwen signed an entry-level deal with the Vancouver Canucks after finishing his junior career with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL.MacEwen emerged as a regular with the Canucks during the pandemic-shortened 2020–21 season, appearing in 34 of the team’s 56 games and scoring two points .
