Just a few months remain this season and the career of Phakamani Mahlambi will again be up for discussion, the Siya crew can reveal.
Before the start of the season, Mahlambi was not in the plans of the Mamelodi Sundowns technical team and a loan move was secured to Chippa United, as then head coach Gavin Hunt tried to revive of the career of the player who was once tipped to reach the highest of highs.
Sources have indicated that this could leave the 24-year-old out in the cold in terms of trying to find a new home to get his career back on track. Mahlambi failed to live up to expectations during his time at AmaZulu last season, while at the Chilli Boys, made just three appearances during a shaky loan stint.Earlier in the campaign, Hunt had stated that the speedy player was ruled out of the season due to injury.
