As of August 2023, changes to the eBucks reward programme will see more FNB customers qualifying for the rewards and greater emphasis on rewards such as groceries and fuel. See how you can earn more:

He says that customers who actively use eBucks are 10 times more likely to remain FNB customers and the programme attracts more than 80 000 new members each month. This makes eBucks an effective acquisition and retention strategy for the bank. Customers have a very high level of engagement with the programme, with 90% of eBucks earned being used within 30 days.

Customers are encouraged to use virtual cards, which not only reduce the risk of fraud, but also save on the cost of issuing plastic ones. To qualify for fuel rewards, private banking customers are required to use their virtual cards when filling up their vehicles.

The monthly voucher for FNB Easy PayU will increase to R20 to supplement purchases on groceries and other necessities at Checkers, Shoprite and Usave outlets, removing the restriction on products. Customers will also no longer have to pay R5 to redeem a voucher.
