THUNDER BAY -- A pedestrian has been involved in a collision with a motor vehicle near the intersection of May and Cumming streets.A woman was taken to hospital just after 5:30 a.m.

on Friday after coming into contact with the vehicle, though police are not able to say how serious those injuries might be.A section of May Street, between Leith and Cumming streets, remains closed on Friday morning.
